Heavy rain since last 2 days kept the temperature at a comfortable level in the capital today but there were reports of water logging and traffic jams in various part of the city affecting normal life. According to MeT Office, the maximum temperature was recorded at 26.4 degree Celsius, a drop of about 8 degrees approximately and the minimum a little higher at 24 degree Celsius against yesterday’s 23.3 degrees.
Traffic lights failed at various crossings and there were reports of traffic jams in parts of east, south and north east Delhi besides roads leading to the airport. The city also reported 32 incidents of falling of trees and six incidents of wall collapse, yesterday.
