Monday, the 31st August…!!! Prosecutors at Los Angeles Superior Court had accused Indian-born fashion designer Anand Jon Alexander, of preying on a string of girls and women aged between 14 and 21 over a six-year period from 2002 to 2007 and sentenced to a minimum of 59 years in jail.
Nine women testified against Alexander during his trial and was found guilty of 16 sex crimes, including forcible rape and sexual battery.

Appearing on “The Oprah Winfery Show” is a prestigious affair, this time her husband Abhishek kept her company as he had been invited on the show with her. They had flown to the States last week to shoot for an episode on Oprah.
She had been to the show in February 2007 also, where she won over Oprah with a sari. Oprah had volunteered to be draped in the sari, which she found sensuous. It will be interesting to see if Ash is her diplomatic self or will reveal a new facet of her personality.
