Blackburn Rovers confirmed that two of their players have swine flu, on Monday. Defender Christopher Samba and midfielder David Dunn both missed Saturday’s 5-0 defeat to Chelsea. But it is not clear that they are the two with swine flu.

A club spokesman said, “A couple cases of swine flu have been confirmed and other members of the squad and staff have complained of virus-like symptoms”.

Carling Cup tie against Peterborough, will go ahead as schedule.
