BMW India will be launching the BMW Golf Cup International2009 in India, which will be held across ten cities. The cities are Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Delhi, Chandigarh, Pune, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and Gurgoan. BMW India dealerships in these cities will organize the tournament from 24^th Oct. Dealers from these cities will identify amateur golfers amongst BMW owners or prospective buyers who are interested in participating. India is one of the 50 participating countries where 100,000 players will compete across 1,000 qualifying tournaments.

In Pune, the event will be held on 19 Dec at Pune Oxford Golf and Country Club. The national final will be held on 23^rd Jan, 2010 at the DLF Golf and Country Club, Delhi, said a release. The finalists will then come together at the BMW Golf Cup International 2009 World Final to be held from 1^st-6^th Mar 2010 in Fancourt Golf Resort, George, South Africa.

The tournament will be in accordance with the rules of the respective local golf clubs.
