Forbes magazine named Fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent, the top earning dead celebrity. In its ninth annual list Forbes.com said Yves Saint Laurent who died in 2008, made 350 million dollars. Following him were composers Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein with 235 million dollars and Michael Jackson at 90 million dollars. Elvis Presley was fourth with 55 million dollars.

According to Matthew Miller, the editor of the list, Michael Jackson is likely to be a bigger earner in years to come. He said, “He will make tens of millions because he has lucrative publishing rights and rights to all his memorabilia.”
