During an interview France’s first lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy revealed that she has agreed to star in Woody Allen’s next movie.

The ex-supermodel said “He suggested I appear in his next film. I don’t know what the role would be, but I said yes”. The 41 year old Italian-born singer-songwriter added “I go into everything blindly, or I’d never do anything at all”.

It seems that she refers to her showbiz career rather than to her sudden marriage to President Nicolas Sarkozy, last year.

She gushed “I ‘m not an actress at all. Perhaps I’ll be completely hopeless but I can’t miss an opportunity like this one. When I’m a grandmother I’d like to be able to say I made a film with Woody Allen”.
