The 29th India International Trade Fair (IITF) at Pragati Maidan will be inaugurated by President Pratibha Patel on 14th November.
The fair will run from 14th-27th November. There will be 28 countries and 7,500 exhibitors participating in this fair. Cuba, Iraq, Nigeria and Papua New Guinea will be first time participants. This year, Thailand is the partner country and China will be the focus country. Delhi will be the partner state and Uttarkhand will be the focus state.
The first 5 days from 14th-18th November will be open only to business and trade visitors. The fair will be thrown open to all visitors from 19th-27th November. This year, stalls will be open throughout the day from 9.30 am-7.30 pm.
Fair tickets brought from Metro stations, DTC depots, Mother Dairy booths, selected petrol pumps and retail outlets will be cheaper by Rs 10. Tickets will be on sale from Friday.
