Macalester College is accepting applications for a two year Winston & amp; Maxine Wallin postdoctoral faculty fellowship from recent PhDs or those who have completed their PhD within the last 5 years focusing on the Islamic world. Candidates may also come from social science or humanitarian discipline.
The fellowship will begin in September 2010 and entails half time teaching. Candidates should be interested in teaching in a rigorous liberal arts environment. And also hold promise of substantial original scholarship.
The stipend includes a $57,000 salary plus benefits and funds to support research and travel. Applications must be postmarked by 15th November, 2009.
