Goldstriker International, a Liverpool based British company has unveiled a gold iPhone encrusted with nearly 200 diamonds- the world’s most expensive mobile phone. The price is 1.92 million pounds or 14.7 crore. The phone is called iPhone 3G Supreme.
The mobile phone is designed by Stuart Hughes for Goldstriker International and made from 22 carat gold. It has 136 diamonds in the front bezel and an apple logo made out of not more than 53 diamonds. Its front navigation button comprise of a rare diamond of 7.1 carats.
The phone took more than 10 months to make, ships with a 7 kg chest crafted from a single block of granite, offset with Kashmir gold and lined with Nubuck leather on the side.
It was reportedly commissioned by an anonymous Australian businessman.
