Michelle Williams, the ex-fiance of Heath Ledger has been chosen to play the lead in upcoming film ‘My Week With Marilyn’, beating actresses Scarlett Johansson and Amy Adams to take the role of the Hollywood legend Marilyn Monroe.
According to Daily Mail online reports the ‘Brokeback Mountain’ star has been chosen to play the blonde pin-up in the new movie ‘My Week With Marilyn’.
Director Simon Curtis and producer David Parfitt are waiting for the ‘Brokeback Mountain’ star to agree. The film will document Marilyn Monroe’s time filming the 1957 movie ‘The Prince and The Showgirl’ with Laurence Olivier. It is based on a diary kept by the film’s assistant director Colin Clarke.
‘My Week With Marilyn’ is due to begin shooting in London in June next year.
