Jimi Hendrix’s new album titled ‘Valleys of Neptune’ featuring his unheard recordings is to be release. The release of the album is scheduled on 8th March, marking the 40th anniversary year of Jimi Hendrix’s death.
The album will include 12 tracks of the guitar maestro assorted before his death in 1970 and also includes covers of Sunshine of Your Love by Cream and Bleeding Heart by Elmore James apart from original tracks Lullaby of Summer and Red House. The earliest song on the album, Mr Bad Luck was recorded in 1967.
The Telegraph quoted Janie Hendrix, the guitarist’s sister and manager of his estate as saying “My brother Jimi was at home in the studio. Valleys of Neptune offers deep insight into his mastery of the recording process and demonstrates the fact that he was as unparalleled a recording innovator as he was a guitarist”.
She further added “His brilliance shine through on every one of these precious tracks”.
