			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The UK Environment Film Fellowships have been awarded every year since 2005 to Indian environmental filmmakers.</p>
<p>Four fellowships will be awarded, through a countrywide bidding process, to a team of environmental filmmakers and climate change professionals or institutions; to make 12 minute documentaries on this year’s theme.</p>
<p>The fellowships are open to a join team comprising a filmmaker and climate change professional/ expert/ institution. The competition is open to Indian filmmakers only. Applicants should have a working experience in filmmaking. A filmmaker can submit more than one proposal based on any or both theme.</p>
<p>Last date for submission is 2<sup>nd</sup> November.</p>

<p>Candidates in any field with a PhD in the area of the proposed project by Dec 2008 are eligible. Stipends for one year with additional funds for project expenses are up to $65,000. The fellowship extends from early September 2010 to 30<sup>th</sup> June 2011.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.radcliffe.edu/fellowships/apply.aspx">Applications are now available</a> for the 2010–2011 fellowship year. Last date for applications in the natural sciences and mathematics is November 15, 2009.</p>

Candidates may also come from social science or humanitarian discipline.</p>
<p>The fellowship will begin in September 2010 and entails half time teaching. Candidates should be interested in teaching in a rigorous liberal arts environment. And also hold promise of substantial original scholarship.</p>
<p>The stipend includes a $57,000 salary plus benefits and funds to support research and travel. Applications must be postmarked by 15<sup>th</sup> November, 2009.</p>
